Compliance

Idemitsu Petroleum Norge AS follows the Idemitsu Group’s Code of Conduct which sets out our commitment to acting with integrity and fairness based on a strong sense of ethics.

Below is a summary of the Code of Conduct.



1. Safety, Quality and Environmental Preservation

We are committed to ensuring health and safety at work is our top priority. We aim to create a safe, comfortable and zero-accident workplace, whilst also minimising our impact on the environment.

 

2. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

We will comply with all applicable domestic and international laws and regulations and have policies and procedures in place to support this.

 

3. Respect for Human Rights

We will not tolerate any infringements of human rights including slavery and human trafficking.

We promote an inclusive work environment free from harassment and discrimination.

 

4. Fair and Free Competition

We will conduct our business transactions with transparency based on free and fair competition.

 

5. Anti-Corruption

We do not offer, promise or give any advantages to anyone with the intention of inducing or rewarding improper performance or conduct by them.

We take care when giving or receiving gifts and hospitality to avoid risks of bribery, and ensure we operate fairly and honestly.

 

6. Information Disclosure and Management

We manage all information we hold or have access to with transparency and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

 

7. Non-Compliance

To ensure we maintain our high ethical standards, we encourage others to alert us to anyone they think is not complying with our Code of Conduct. We have procedures in place to manage this process including whistleblowing and non-retaliation policies.
